What Does Hammock Sway offer?
Hammock Sway offers a property for those looking for an off grid private camping experience. Free Range Camping, RV parking, Campsites for groups or Camp along the river. You don't pay for a spot. You pay for peace and quiet.
Hammock'Sway is a project campground run by Chris Langen. The goal is to create a camping experience to include privacy, space, and our beautiful surroundings. All designed to change the way we relax and recharge. Chris lives on property with his Camp Dogs and Flock of chickens to provide a daily helping of the soon to be Famous Sweegs.
Opened in 2019, the property is beautiful and private, however primitive. The idea is to be Camping in Tennessee that feels like Camping in Tennessee. More of a backyard campsite than a sprawling campground where you hear every tent zipper every sneeze and every conversation of other campers like at the big campgrounds.
Hammock'Sway is designed to offer a minimum of 1 acre per site. You can pitch a tent/s or bring your camper/s and find a place that speaks to you and enjoy your time up in the Tennessee Mountains.
Pet friendly and very welcome.
I try my best to maintain the property. I do not have heavy equipment or a team to help me take care of the property. I am currently seeking a partner to help build the amenities and create some new accommodations like Cobb Homes, Tree Houses and Cabins for rent. Tiny Homes
I welcome innovative living situations. I have land available for unique tiny homes or other small living accommodations. Our long term goal is to have around 5 long term tiny home residents on the property. If you are interested in building a community based on simple living, please get in contact with me.
CONFERENCES & Events
Hammok'Sway is full of small open areas surrounded by trees to provide privacy. Additionally we offer a 10 acre open pasture right in the middle of the property. Perfect location for group outings and team building activities.
